Hi,

We currently have an outstanding urgent fix required on our cPanel services this evening services will be unavailable from 9PM onwards as our engineers and cPanel work to resolve our current fault with cPanel & MySQL which isn't allowing users to create or manage databases through the control panel. We will be carrying out a full backup at 9PM of all user data to ensure no files are lost, we emphasise that the importance of this as in the case of any failures this evening data backed up could be different to the user's data.

Due to the nature of the timezones, and wanting to be able to ensure we have full hands on to fix the services, we have scheduled urgent downtime to start at 9PM to start work on the issue carrying an indefinite ETA of when services will resume. We are expecting services to be back online by 1-2AM in the worst circumstance. This is unusual circumstances and is urgent work that is needed to be carried out.

This is expected to be the final downtime and will bring our services to a more reliabile and faster infrastructure providing a virtualised environment whereby server loads are spread, and downtime is reduced.

We understand the inconvenience of this work and to compensate for this evenings downtime customers will be credited on their bill for the inconvenience and unavailability of service.
