How to Extend a disk drive in Windows

You may contact our support team to request an increase in disk space to your Windows Cloud Server. There is no down time involved in extending the disk space of your Cloud Server.

Once our team have upgraded your disk space allocation in our cloud environment, you will be required to extend the disk space volume on the Windows server itself. 

Follow the steps below in order to extend your Disk Space

  1. Open the Control Panel or search Computer Management (skip to step 4 if searching)
  2. Open the Administrative Tools,
  3. Open the Computer Management icon,
  4. Select Disk Management,
  5. Right Click the volume you want to extend
  6. Select Extend Volume,
  7. Follow on the on screen instructions and wizard to extend the volume to the desired disk space.
  8. Click the Finish button,
  9. Close the Disk Management console - you're good to go!
