Import/Export Email Through Webmail

Using Horde, you can import/export your mail.

  1. Log into cPanel.
  2. In the Mail section, click the Webmail icon.
  3. Click Go to Webmail Login.
  4. Click the Horde icon to be taken to the mail portal.

Export Emails

To export your emails from Horde:

  1. Click the Mail icon in the top menu.
  2. On the next screen, click the Folders icon in the top menu.
  3. Check the box next to the folder you wish to export.
  4. From the Choose Action drop-down menu, choose Download or Download [.zip format].
  5. Click OK in the popup window to start the download of the MBOX or zip file.

Import Email

To import your emails to Horde:

  1. Click the Mail icon in the top menu.
  2. On the next screen, click the Folders icon in the top menu.
  3. Select the folder where you want to import the emails and choose Import Messages from the Choose Action drop-down.
    • If you want to make a new folder for the import, select a parent folder by clicking the checkbox next to an existing folder (or select nothing to make the new folder a top level folder), and choose Create from the Choose Action drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Browse button and locate your MBOX file (unzip first if you have a zip file).
  5. Click the Import button.
